About the lymphatic system

The lymphatic system transports fats and toxins to the organs responsible for their elimination. Lymph circulates thanks to the pressure generated by muscle movements, breathing, and rhythmic arterial impulses. When this system is compromised, the body does not properly drain fluids. In these cases, pressotherapy helps restore this function safely and effectively.

What is pressotherapy?

An alternative therapeutic method to manual lymphatic drainage. It is based on the application of sequential pressure to the legs, abdomen, and arms to activate venous and lymphatic return, promoting the reabsorption of edema and interstitial fluid.

How does it work?

A controlled compression system using a control unit that pumps air into the different sections of the garment (arms, legs, and abdomen). The compression is progressive and programmable to adapt to each treatment area.

Recommended treatment

A standard protocol consists of 8 sessions at weekly intervals. Each session lasts 20 to 40 minutes, and results are usually noticeable from the 4th or 5th session. It can be performed at any time of the year.

Treatment programs

MODE A
Focused on reproducing manual lymphatic drainage for heavy legs and a relaxation massage. Slow and gradual inflation, starting from the most distal areas (A → B → C → D). Each section fills with air in 8 seconds, the air is expelled, and the cycle runs twice. Then, inflation continues in continuous and simultaneous 8‑second sequences.

MODE B
Indicated for fluid retention and cellulite prevention. The sections inflate faster than in MODE A, starting from the most distal areas (A → B → C → D).

MODE C – Combined program (alternate inflation)

1. Compression in section A (feet and hands).
2. Inflation of section C (forearm and calves).
3. Inflation of the lower abdomen (E).
4. Inflation of section B (wrist and ankle).
5. Inflation of section D (femur and biceps).
6. The cycle ends with inflation of the upper abdomen (E).
